Herramientas
Originally conceived as a large, square format book, Herramientas is a visual essay on the "forgotten Spain", a large and diverse extension of land made up of small municipalities and villages that survive on agriculture and livestock.
Recently, these areas have been rebranded by the media as the "abandoned Spain", a name that suggests the lack of investment and the slow abandonment of their houses and streets.
Developed in 2011. Revisited in 2019.
This project was reviewed by Maria Teresa Salvati, from My Spot of Beauty.
